The brothers Staf and Piet Wittevrongel:
On their own initiative, they undertook the trip to the Marquesas Islands and New Zealand for the preliminary study and to ascertain the condition of the hull, make contact with the local authorities and salvage companies, obtain estimates and see to the PR with the national and regional TV and newspaper press.

Ils ont noué des contacts avec les autorités locales et des entreprises de renflouement, cherché des devis, et assuré des relations avec la presse et les médias régionaux et nationaux.
